She made a doc - similar to the one (I gather) that she made for The Shining.

Don't quite understand what your asking, but the DVD, and VHS release of: Full Metal Jacket does not contain a documentary.

I know she did one for The Shining, but I'd never heard of her doing one for Full Metal Jacket.

I think I read something about this once (her documentary on FMJ, that is). No, it's not on any edition, but maybe it'll be a feature on the potential new edition that's supposedly coming out next year.

Isn't that right? WB is re-re-releasing the Kubrick box set, only now with extras and even newer transfers? Or is it just 2001?
