I think it was OOP for a brief time, but not anymore. Amazon & Deep Discount don't carry it anymore, but Best Buy's website has it for $19.99

The original release probably is... Fox did reissue but the new version has slightly diff spine artwork and I believe it uses somewhat cheaper-feeling material.

Ahhh the Fight Club 2disc... one of the greats. For awhile there it was the crown jewel of most collections.

agreed...not to rare at the time, but it for a while it was garnering 40-60 bucks. Best buy, borders, barnes & noble, tower, virgin megastores... all stock it

Still one of my crowns. Fits up there w/ Memento, Clerks, Matrix and Underworld SE that I love.

Besides the spine and artwork,is the transfer same as the original CE (2 disks)? I bought mine for $19.99 at Best Buy today. Good blind buy?

The transfer and contents are exactly the same as the previous release. Blind buy's are inherently subjective, but especially so in this case considering the film has roughly an equal number of fans and detractors. Personally, I love it.

Many consider it to be one of the best films of all time, I have it in my top 25.

Plus they did a great job on the DVD.

Great blind buy. But what rock have you been under for 7 years if this was a blind buy for you?

This definitley isn't hard to find around here. My store has way too many. I'm getting sick of trying to find places to put them all. Luckily we have it on special right now and are moving them out pretty quickly.
