The next level of shamelessly cashing in on an actor's popularity ...

I've heard of studios putting an actor's huge mug on cover art for a subsequent release of a dvd just because the actor has now become famous, even if the actor might have only played a minor role in the film, but this is just hilarious:

I must say, at first, I thought it was the DVD for March of the Penguins.

Sony is one of the worse studios when it comes to DVD covers, so this doesn't surprise me.

I'm an unabashed lover of penguins, but this is just silly.

Most likely it's a marketing scheme taking advantage of March of the Penguins... It's a bad bet, banking on people's skepticism of whether penguins can fly or not. Hey, you'll be surprised how people didn't know that penguins can't fly.

That's pretty sad. It's like when NBC aired Satisfaction, renamed it "The Girls of Summer" and promoted it like Julia Roberts was the star. NBC also played up Noah Wyle's role in A Few Good Men.
