species box set
Can anyone give any insight as to what is on the bonus disc of the Species Box Set and what running times are, quality of material, etc? I couldn't find anything on a search here, nor have I been able to find any reviews.

According to DVDAnswers, this is what you will find on the bonus disc:
I couldn't locate any info on running times or content quality though.
This will house a number of new featurettes ("The Origin", "The Concept", "The Discovery", "Designing A Hybrid", "HR Giger At Work", "Species II: Eve of Destruction" and "Species III: Genesis") and a never-before-seen alternate ending for the first film.

Turns out they are the same extras that are on the Region 2 two-disc SE of the first film. Total runtime equals about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
