Not cheaper, but close at BB and the lithograph? Sold. Circuit City would be a great deal if you want all of those items, but odds are you've already got 2/3 of them
Yeah, if I didn't already have The Wall on DVD, I'd probably go for that whole deal. Don't really want the Pulse CDs though if I were to get the DVD.

Finally picked mine up at BB during lunch today. I skipped the "lithograph" as it probably would just have ended up in the trash at some point. I enjoy that the disc art eyeballs match the cover eyeballs down to the red veins around the sides. Nice touch. Can't wait to pop this in the player tonight. w00t!

Indeed. I saw this tour in Clemson, SC and have always told people who ask that this is the best show I've ever seen. Now I can show it off on DVD.

BTW, I just watched the tour stuff on disc 1, and on the map it shows Clemson "South California" in the listing and on the map of dates and stops.

Called best buy, out of lithos do lithos usually go this quick?

Then went to circuit city to do the 2 for 28 deal and they were out of stock on the pulse dvd. Out of stock, 2 days after release, that's good inventory management.

A bunch of Lithos were probably taken by people who didn't buy Pulse, since there isn't really a price on it, it probably scans for $0.01 or $0.00.

Circuit City had a good system for Sin City when that came out, the lithos were at the checkout and once you purchase the DVD, they give it to you.

I've been on both sides though, so I can't really complain.

If you think that is bad, the circuit city here never got any of the three items in the first place. I checked on Tuesday morning when the opened and again this evening and came up empty both times.

The set does seem to be selling quickly in places that did have it in stock. On Tuesday, Best Buy here probably had at least 30-40 copies and tonight there were 4 left.

Picked it up first day of release at 10:05am. One of the employess was wlaking up to the register with a box that had the lithographs in and handed me one. I'm guessing that's where it was going to be kept since it was only supposed to be limited to 10 a store.

Believe it or not my wife and I actually haven't had the chance to watch it yet but plan on doing so at some point over the weekend. Can't wait!!

Went to CC, they were out of the Wall DVD. No rainchecks and weren't going to substitute anything else for me.

So, Drove to BB. They had all 3 in stock, went up to the register. Cashier was a little confused on the add. After I explained it to her, she started to ring it up, but since it involved a price match, etc, she called over a manager. Rang me up with no issues. Pulse DVD, cd and The Wall for $30. Nice. The Wall was the 25th Anniversary one as well, since that is all BB had and all I've seen since the release of it.

I picked mine up at BB with the litho, it looke nice. For some reason I thought it was going to be a 3D type of picture but it's not, still very nice. I just have to find a good place to hang it.

As far as the dvd, WOW! Pcture and sound quality are top notch. The extras a pretty cool too. I like that they have the movie playing inside the "eye" as an extra. The band sounds great! With so much production being put in to their albums, the live performance is truely amazing. I was still in high school in '94, but damn, I'm still kicking myself for missing this masterpiece of a performance. Right after I watched Pulse, I had to put in Live in Pompaii. Pink Floyd is easily my favorite band of all time.

I saw an Australian Pink Floyd tribute band a coule of years ago. The stage show is not as massive as the original bands but is still very impressive as is the music. Even the singers voice sounds very much like Mr. Gilmours and the guitar work was very good as well. I highly recommend seeing their show to other Pink Floyd fans.

PINK FLOYD's Pulse DVD Debuts At #1 In The U.S., UK And Other Nations
Posted on Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at 16:03:34

PINK FLOYD's Pulse - a landmark DVD collection documenting the 1994 Division Bell tour including the band's first-ever filmed performance of The Dark Side Of The Moon - is the #1 music DVD on both sides of the Atlantic topping the charts in Austria, Belgium, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Norway, the UK and the United States, where it's just debuted with first week's sales of 92,815 according to SoundScan.

Pulse has one of the Top 3 best first week's sales in the United States of any music DVD in history.Full article on BW&BK
==============================

Does that seem like a lot to anyone? I would have thought much more from all around the world.Hell, that really only one per person of a Floyd show almost.
Im hoping it sells more and maybe they will see people want more Floyd and TOUR AGAIN one last time !!!

I think they might be trying to say it sold 92,815 in just the US, but I can't be sure. Even that is far less than I would have expected but if they really do mean worldwide I'd be floored...

When I went to HMV earlier today, they had it on. I watched it for a couple of seconds, and the sound/video seemed great. I plan to eventually pick this up, and I would love to see Floyd live.

The sound especially at the higher DD rate is amazing. The pic during bright scenes is fine. During dim scenes there is quite a bit of video noise. Blame the SD cameras they used back then, not the transfer, nothing much they can do nless they DNR'd it to death.
