You guys that are buying "Man With the Screaming Brain", had you seen it on Sci Fi, or is it a blind buy? I viewed the DVD via pre-street and thought it was intolerable, IMO.

Big, BIG week for me. Can't buy hardly any of it right away, but eventually, I hope to pick up:

Cinderella
Dracula A.D. 1972
Val Lewton Collection (one of the most important releases this year, IMO)
Alfred Hitchcock Masterpiece set
Star Trek: Nemesis
Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane

May be tempted to pick up "Man with the Screaming Brian" later. Saw it. It really depends upon reviews of the extras.

Seems as though October is going to pan out to be a very expensive month for me starting with :-

Val Lewton Boxset
The Warriors
Blood Drive II
In The Year Of The Pig (released Sept. but just getting round to getting)

and these couple in R2 :-

Punishment Park (MoC)
The Blue Planet SE (Re-release)

This is going to be a big week for me.

Picking up some sets with the target ad.

Also,

Happy Tree Friends Christmas
and some others

Will rent The Interpreter and Amityville first before deciding on purchase.

Star Trek: Nemesis (CE)

The Futureshop near where I work didn't have any copies of The Fly/The Fly II, and I didn't see any trace of it at HMV either! On a side note, my copy of Nemesis didn't have any scratches! I think that is a first for me and a ST release.

Just Cinderella for me (actually had a gold box coupon from amazon on this one) and ordered it with Batman Begins Deluxe Edition for the free shipping. Figured it was worth the wait.

Just got an e-mail from ddd; they shipped my Val Lewton Collection today, so I should have it by Thanksgiving. Gives me something to look forward to, ya know?
