Here's a link for the lazy:

It looks gorgeous! I hadn't planned on picking it up, but my wife said we needed it, and therefore ordered it for me as a Christmas gift.

As LBCF said, there is no movie ticket. Which makes sense, since it's basically nothing but promotion for the flick, right? Guess they figure CROSS-promotion with JP/Mummy fans is more important.

Other than that, it'll be $25 at Costco.

I had no intention of getting this DVD but after looking at the pictures, I'm not so sure anymore. It looks that they took a lot of time and effort in the design and production of this release. Good job!

Picked up this cool little kodak photo sketch book from Best buy. They were supposed to be given away with cinderella man, butthey just gave it to me. Anyhow, it has a 3 dollar off coupon for this set if you have a reward zone card. Hope that helps some wallets....and at the very least a cool little book in a leather pouch.

Was deciding between this and the Sin City re-release, but my money is definately going towards this after that review and those pics. What a great resource, espessially for those who are intrested in film industry (i.e. me, the NYer turned Hollywood tool in film school.)

I wasn't gonna get this, but if it's only $25 at CostCo, I may as well.

The film looks interesting. I think this might be worth picking if anything for the cool looking lithos.

So I went over to CostCo, picked this up and looked it over - and put it back down... It felt sorta cheap, and I just couldn't justify spending $25 on extras - I guess it'd be different if I look at it as a documentary, but still...

I'm with slop on this one... I spotted this at Borders today ($29.99), and I thought it seemed a little cheap in everything except price. I figure whatever extras they end up including on the DVD release will be enough for me. A great idea for collectors, though.

Picked up a copy at Target for $29.99.

Definitely sweet packaging and lithographs. Mine were 6,000 and something. Can't wait to check out the discs.

For those who have watched it already...

What was up with Brian Singer coming in to Direct for PJ while he slept? Was that supposed to be a joke? They played it pretty seriously, but they played the April Fool's diary serious as well. I can understand him being tired, but not enough to call somebody in. He only had two days left and couldn't have a couple more cups of coffee? A Red Bull? Some No-Drowz?
Singer has a similar deal going on for Superman Returns (video diaries) and one is about the same incident so maybe they were being serious.

Of course it was a joke - I don't see how anyone could think it was serious for even one second. Naomi Watt's lines especially give this away (not to mention, she was wearing a robe while being "directed" by Singer). And during the Frank Darabont section, you can even see Peter Jackson laughing while he was "sleeping".

You're easy to please. I have it and this "made to look like a suitcase" carboard packaging is definitely on the cheapo side.
