Keeping Up Appearances BBC Question

Okay, I would really love to get the full box set - but being a college student with limited income is a problem. I want to get the individual dvds of the show one/two at a time until I get them all...

...but I am having a problem distinguishing between the dvds (it can't be this hard!)

I see that episode 1 of season (series 1) is Daddy's Accident, but on the decriptions for the dvds - I can't find 'Daddy's Accident' anywhere! (Is there more than one title for some of the episodes?)

Could someone be so kind and help me out to which dvd contains the first season (series), second season, and so on?

There's 8 individual dvds out - but there are only five seasons (series).

Here are the titles of those 8:

1.) Everything's Coming Up Hyacinth
2.) My Way or The Hyacinth Way
3.) Home Is Where The Hyacinth Is
4.) Hints From Hyacinth
5.) Hats Off To Hyacinth
6.) Living The Hyacinth Life
7.) Some Like It Hyacinth
8.) Deck The Halls With Hyacinth (I know that these are the four X-mas specials).

From the bbcamericashop - they say that "Everything's Coming Up Hyacinth is Series 3, "My Way Or The Hyacinth Way" is Series 1...is that right? What about the other discs.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

The episode titles on the discs are different than the online guides.

The correct disc order is:
Series 1:
1.) My Way or The Hyacinth Way

Series 2:
2.) Hints From Hyacinth
3.) Home Is Where The Hyacinth Is

Holiday Specials:
4.) Deck The Halls With Hyacinth

Series 3:
5.) Everything's Coming Up Hyacinth

Series 4:
6.) Some Like It Hyacinth

Series 5:
7.) Living The Hyacinth Life
8.) Hats Off To Hyacinth

Also, I just looked around, if you get the box in the long run you can save about $50 over getting them individually which seem to run around $17-$19 each. The box can be had for around $95.

It looks like you could get these through Columbia House individually as enrollment titles. If you are able to use the "LMT" code that would take care of 7 out 8 DVDs in one shot. You would only need to purchase 2 more later to fulfill. That should come out cheaper than the box set.

Or, if you're more of a gambler, you could get other DVDs with your enrollment choices, then hope that CH puts the box set on sale for 50% (or more) during one of their free shipping promotions and get it as your fulfillment title (at $65, it would count as two.)

And yes, this has happened recently. Unfortunately for me, I had already fulfilled both my then-open accounts.

Thanks a lot Kevin!

-----------

I did not know CH carried the individual titles as enrollment (seeing as they don't for Black Adder). Interesting. I might have to check that out. Thanks guys.
