Starting Saturday 10/1, I'll be watching exclusively horror-related films and nothing else for the entire month of October. It's an annual tradition I've done for years where I'll cram as many horror movies into each day as humanly possible (hopefully without interfering with my work/personal life )...mikewendt will get a run for his money.

It will be a month filled with Argento, Fulci, Hitchcock, King, Franco, Carpenter, Cronenberg, Jackson, Hooper, Bava, Romero and many, many more.

The goal: 100 horror films in October.

Will Chad, the man who has recently barely been able to fit in one movie per day reach his goal? Stay tuned and find out.

I welcome any challengers.

The challenge can be found here:

http://dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=439714

The queue view:

More Simpsons Season 6 w/commentaries
Diabolical Doctor Z
Mill of the Stone Women
Netflix: Inside Deep Throat
Evil Dead 2: Book of the Dead Edition
The Dead Next Door

...more coming soon

Monday
Sherlock Holmes in Terror by Night - (1946)

Tuesday
Inside Deep Throat - (2005)

Wednesday
The Body Snatcher - (1945)

Thursday

Friday

Saturday

Sunday

mikewendt though has an advantage I believe - he works at home (right?)

I've got a ton of films from (Netflix, Nicheflix, and my own library which I've got lined up to watch for the month). I love a challenge (and I'm just insanely curious to see what both of them will see - my only goal is that every movie that I watch is a film I have not seen before - that might also include longer versions of films that I had seen in the past in trunscated form: i.e, "Opera").

Kind of right... Home during the day, radio station evening - night, overnight security, with the occasional day off here and there...

So I watch duing the day & overnight... And surprisingly to everyone including me, I have enough of a social life to get laid on a regular basis...

Like the saying goes, "You only live once... Why fill your time with sleep?"

So far this week I've only watched the first episode of the TV version of "Scenes from a Marriage" -- I do hope to finish it by next week sometime.

Well for me TV wise i always check out Late Night With Conan O'Brien (eaily the best late night talk show host....the others tend to be a'holes in my opinion). I also enjoy the Amazing Race which has just started again. I may check out the repeats of Going Tribal on Discovery and i have always been a fan of Top Gear back from when i was in England so will probably be watching that.

Movies wise, well i just got the Brazil Criterion box set the other day so will give that a view. I am a sucker for my english comedy shows and have been rewatching all the Alan Partridges....so will probably spend some time there. Also might go see a History of Violence at the cinema. The onyl film i will be buying this week will be a classic.....Santa Claus: The Movie Anniversary edition. Can't beat it....classic film and John Lithgow at his most evil self.....
