Easter Egg found on SWV "Blood Suckers / Blood Thirst"
Last night I stumbled upon what seems to be an as yet undocumented Easter Egg. And its a big 'un!
On the "Blood Suckers / Blood Thirst" DVD by Something Weird Video (which has been out since 07/24/2001!) there is a hidden trailer for a quadruple-billed horror show!
Four films are previewed in a 2:15 minute trailer:
Blood Demon / Blood Doctor / Blood Fiend / Blood Brides
The trailer for the 4-hour-plus show is billed as the: "Chiller Carnival of Blood"
Very cool! Never knew something as intense as this had ever been featured, probably at the drive-in. I am fairly certain the voice overs are by Zacherley! I'm a west coast guy but didn't wasn't Zacherley's show called "Chiller"? (I only got to see Zacherley since the "Horrible Horror" compilation tape).
I could not find a way to access this hidden trailer from any on-screen menu. I found the trailer by browsing the chapters via software on my PC! Its chapter 25.
I'm jazzed I found such a cool and unusual trailer by accident!
BobB
P.S. As far as I can determine, the films original titles and dates are:
Schlangengrube und das Pendel, Die 1967
Mad Doctor of Blood Island 1968
Theatre of Death 1966
Rosso segno della follia 1970
