worst replanted head artwork
i thought the worst artwork where heads were unnaturally "photoshop'd" onto bodies belonged to the Star Wars original trilogy. but now i've seen the cover for the Longest Drive, and that one took the cake. Kurt Russell doesn't even have a neck there.

The cover art for Universal's WEIRD SCIENCE is pretty bad...the heads of Anthony M Hall and Ilan Mitchell-Smith are about 2X the size of their bodies and are not even facing the right direction. Universal should have used the original poster art. It would have been just fine...

And then there is this one. The heads look right, but check out that magical non-spilling beer mug! Bad photoshop all around on this one.

I've always loved this one. The heads are fine, but it's clear the actors were all photographed separately, and how can you not admire the half-assed fake money they've photoshopped into Nick and Rachel's hands?!

The woman's head is all out of porportion with the rest of the body. There is a shot of her running on the back of the case that looks normal, and prooves that is not her body.
Catch that Kid also disturbs me
Original poster:
DvD cover:
And I can't find an image of the back cover, but the heads are the exact same as the previous two images, just different bodies. It's like they paid the kids for one photo shoot and that's it.

these covers really crack me up. can't believe how studios green light these. aren't they supposed to have an ample supply of talented graphic artists who do this for a living? and i guess actors don't okay the covers, because half of these don't look very flattering.

Anyway...
The recent "Tommy Boy" DVD release has some doctored head shots on it. They arent planted, but you can tell they are fixed in some way.

I remember there being a debate after this came out about whether it was really their bodies. I'm surprised nobody has mentioned it.
