Wrong Turn and 28 Days Later Slipcovers

I don't know if this has been posted, but I was in Target last night and saw these new slipcovers for Wrong Turn and 28 Days Later and I thought they were pretty badsass. Has anyone else seen them? They were at the front where the cash registers are. I think they were on the $10 rack.

I saw the wrong turn one at wal-mart, it was the same DVD as the original release as far as I could tell.

I saw the 28 Days Later one at Best Buy a week ago, give or take. Pretty slick.

Hmmm, so much for the slipcovers being a benefit of buying early.

Well, there's that odd benefit of actually having the movie to watch for 2 years.

Someone might actually buy it and return it sans slipcover... Not that I'd suggest such a thing.

I saw From Hell with one recently. Looked nice. But it's for the one disc, as the one I have is OOP, I believe.

I saw the 28 Days Later slipcover at Target today. It was pretty damn nice, actually. Curse my buying the movie two years ago!

What's the purpose for those DVD slipcovers anyway? I usually discard mine, because there's no need for them.

Was the 28 Days slipcover just a copy of the cover art?

I saw the 28 Days Later cover as well during checkout at Target and it really caught my eye as I don't own the movie, but I've picked it up enough while contemplating buying it...really nice. Still didn't buy the movie, but contemplated yet again

I also saw the covers and thought they were very cool. I may even sell my versions (or give them away) and get the new ones. I wouldn't do that for just any movie but I happen to like these movies very much.

Isn't Cabin Fever another dvd that got a new cover? I am almost certain they got a new holographic type cover that is extremely cool.

And when is Wrong Turn 2 supposed to come out? I've heard they're making it for a direct to dvd release. I cant wait to see some more toothless wonders hunting some tree huggers.

The studios like to pull tricks like this out of their bag of goodies, don't they. I know how some would feel wanting those slipcovers, haven't seen them, but I am sure they are nice. Though, if you already have it, unless you are a fan of the films in question, is dropping $10 bucks on it and going through all that really worth it for a slipcover. If you are a fan I can see it, but, oh well, if you gotta have it, go for it.
