THE CARD PLAYER (Anchor Bay)-- Video Problems?

I was reading a review of this today, and the reviewer mentioned the video was interlaced? That it caused a lot of ghosting. I watched it today on my LCD set and I didn't see any of this. First off I'm not really sure what interlacing is, and what kind of set would show immediate ghosting.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

The disc wasn't flagged properly for progressive scan. So, if your DVD player and TV are progressive, the picture will be far from perfect. Definitely an error on AB's part, and I hear that their new TRAUMA disc has the same problem. What a shame.

I actually saw it on Wednesday and can confirm the poor video quality. Macro-blocking present as well.

what would I notice? My DVD player does run on progressive scan. I am running it through an LCD set and didn't notice any huge problems. Wondering what I should be looking for.
