dvd ripper

i there my first time on this website and i need help.the problem is that last night i went down to this pc shop and perchesed this dvd LG DRIVE and it will
work with all formats out there but i did not get any burning software so i
can durn somthing to dvd.is there any free software out there which i can use
its the first time i have ever done this before so can anybody tell me how to do it step by step thaks richard

• Posting requests for copies of copyrighted material, or "how-to-get/make bootleg material" instructions
• Anything that violates the trademark or copyright of another company including anything that may violate the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

Nowhere in his message does he say he's trying to copy a movie.

It sounds like he bought a DVD Burner and doesn't know how to use it because he doesn't have any software. Lots of reasons to have a DVD burner that don't include copying movies. Lighten up! All he's guilty of is coming here for help and posting in the wrong forum.

If that was the case he shouldn't have used the title "DVD ripper" as that implies he's looking to extract the data from a DVD.

richard willacy if you are just really looking for DVD burning sw please start a thread in the Tech Forum. If you are really looking for something to copy DVDs (even if you own them and are doing it for "archival" purposes) that's a topic we don't allow here.
