Tru Calling - Complete 2nd Season 10/4 (everywhere)

Tru Calling - The Complete 2nd Season is already available...as a Best Buy exclusive release. Fans of the show who aren't going to buy it from that chain, though, have been wanting to know when they will be able to purchase it elsewhere. We've been keeping an eye open to be able to answer that question, and now we can pass on a tentative release date: October 4th.
This is just a few days after the "Oct. 1st" date that Best Buy's stickers state is the day their exclusive offer for this release ends, so it makes sense that other retailers would get the chance to sell this as quickly as possible after that. The SRP will continue to be $29.99. Don't forget, that's for six hour-long episodes (that's all the second season was before it was cancelled!) that runs 264 minutes on two discs. There's also an extra feature called "Tru Calling: Opposing Forces".

So its the same price....Haha. Looks like everyone waiting for a 'cheaper' price simply won't get it (unless there is weekly deals, however its still $24.99 at Best Buy).

MSRP $29.95, bestbuy was selling for $24.99 (plus tax) ..30% off MSRP would be $20.99 (which will be what DDD will probably sell it for I'd guess) and if you wait until their next 20% off sale, if $20.99 is their regular price, it'd be $16.79 probably.

And if you wait 2 more years, it will be $9.99!

I always forget how cheap some people can actually be. People will wait till the DDD sale to save a buck or two. Simply amazing.

If it is not a real high interest title I can understand not wanting to pay much for it. Tru Calling is only of casual interest to me so waiting makes sense. However if I really wanted it then I would have bought it when it first came out at BB.

The second season of Tru Calling release date changed to Nov 15th. Not sure if I would want to pay too much for a few episodes. Just hope they have alot of cool stuff on the dvd.

2nd season was great. Too bad we got 1/3 of a full season. They had some really cool plans/revelations regarding Jack!

Despite the extremly low amount of special features (1 featurette) this is a really well put together DVD set.
