Tenchi Muyo OVA box set question re: languages

Specifically this set - can anybody who has actually sat down and watched it confirm whether it's only English dubbed, or whether the original Japanese w/English subtitles is available? Some websites only mention dubbing, some mention subtitles - would like to hear from someone who's actually seen it, thanks!

Original Japanese audio with english subtitles is available. That's the only way I'll watch my anime.

Interesting... I was just about to purchase "used or new" when I realized that the people listing it as new are actually listing a 2-disc 'import' version (amazon.com claims it's 3 discs) - which would explain the price difference - so, pirated? 'almost the same' but much much cheaper quality? .ca has the same discrepancy (although .ca doesn't list how many discs are in the set), although the sellers are asking for a heck of a lot more. Before I send off an e-mail to Amazon asking "wth?", anybody see an explanation for this?

It is safe to say the 2-disc "import" is a bootleg.

'bootleg'. Yup. That was the word I was looking for. :P Anyway - any point reporting it, or does Amazon care?

If you take a look at the Amazon marketplace, it's literally littered with anime bootlegs.

Ouch. I can't much afford the cost of anime these days, so I've never really shopped for it. That's pretty annoying, coming on top of the whole dvdsoon issue. Almost enough to make me go back to shopping at 'real' stores.

Assuming there were any that didn't refuse to order in anymore.

Bootlegs

Here's a question for the people who picked up the first disc of the OVA 3 set--Did anyone notice that subtitles match the English language track? Can any Japanese speakers confirm that the English dub is different? I know for OVA 1&2 they were. Ryoko's lines mostly I usually watch in Japanese with English subs, but I discovered Tenchi on TV (yeah, I know, not the OVAs) and really liked the voice-acting. I shouldn't have watched in English though. Too many voice actors didn't come back. It just wasn't the same.

The only way i could tell if the OVA has dubtitles or not is from a scene later on the OVA.

There is a scene where Washu is trying to get a sample of Tenchi's dna (semen) and in the Japanese subtitles she lists various body parts she would use to help uh...extract that. With the english dub on (which i am told are the same people who dubbed the show for TV) what is said is completly different and makes no mention of Washu's "extraction" methods.

My GF owns the Tenchi set and it is the 3-disc version shown on Amazon.
