Imagine - John Lennon: Deluxe Edition, 12.06.05

I didn't see anything about this (other than a listing in Cameron's Release List). I've been waiting for this to be (re-)released. I worship Lennon.

Warner has officially announced Imagine: Deluxe Edition which carries John Lennon's own collection of more than 240 hours of film and videotape, much of it never seen by the public. With cooperation from Yoko Ono in its creation, producers David L. Wolper and Andrew Solt transform the archival footage - and a monumental 36-tune soundtrack - into a spellbinding account of a complex, fascinating man. The documentary itself will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English 2.0 Stereo Surround track. Extras will include a John Lennon trivia track, never before seen footage of the Island House (Lake House at home of John and Yoko, Tittenhurst Estate in Ascot, England), a Tribute to John Lennon: The Man, The Music, The Memories documentary, a BBC Radio Interview with John and Yoko, a William Ernest Pobjoy Interview (Headmaster Quarry Bank High School - John Lennon's Grammar School), and Acoustic Imagine - a never before released performance at the Apollo Theatre in New York City, Dec. 17, 1971. Completing the package will be a James Dean trailer. You'll be able to own this one from the 6th December, and priced at around $19.97.
