A Knight's Tale: Extended Cut

DVD Answers

Not sure if this is necessary, but I'm one of the few who actually really likes this movie. I'll probably just stick with the regular special edition I've had for years though. I think most of the features are the same.

If anything, I'd want a shorter version. I quite like the film, for all its silliness and especially its strong supporting cast - but sometimes it takes itself far too seriously.

I wonder will this just be the deleted scenes reinstated, now with the music that they couldn't license before.

That's what I was wondering, too. I actually really liked some of the deleted scenes, but if thats all that's in the extended cut, I'm not sure if it's worth paying just to see have them put back in.

I'm thinking this could very well be the case. This is what they did with the recent extended edition of Not Another Teen Movie.

but not all of the deleted scenes wound up in the new version, notably the Never been Kissed spoof where Sadie, standing on the football field with a microphone, gets trampled on by the football team.

I recently rented this movie to see it for the first time. What's interesting about it is that all by itself it seems to serve as an audition by Alan Tudyk ("Wash" on Firefly/Serenity) for his current stint on Broadway (subbing for Hank Azaria) in "Monty Python's Spamalot."

Tudyk was great in Spamalot, and great in this movie too, I thought. It seems very Python-influenced, if you look at it out of the corner of your eye.

I clamored. I try to keep my clamoring regular. Nothing like being a constant clamoror.

I'm such a sad sack on this one. I bought it used for $9 last year and still haven't watched it yet.

I think it's probably the worst movie I own. I got it as a gift.

I like this movie a lot but don't like the idea of a longer cut. I may rent it if the reviews are good enough but I dunno if I'd buy it.
