Well... I need to upload an updated version of mine. So ... I "layered" a few photos in PS. More dvds in the other room and behind me here. Who needs info on stuff here... this is a show-off thread! Yes, there are some "stacked" dvds, but also just temporary... until I run to Ikea (woohoo , we just got one!)

Well.. short list. E100's for the fronts (got for 175 for the pair) N-centerII (37 bucks) , Boston Cr-57's (86 for the pair) and a Klipsch KSW-12 (80 bucks) Yahama reciever,Sony HS420 30" HDTV,Xbox,Ps2,GCN,saturn,motorola HD reciever,ReplayTV,SD-4900 DVD player,Proformance turntable with RS-preamp,Harmony 676 controlling it all very nicely.

Left Side , don't worry about wiring , I ran short so had to leave it that way until I go and get some more , will be mounted better. Only got 2 posters framed right now.

THey look resessed into the wall. Not sure if they have been built totally into them.

Yes, it used to be a little recessed area. I built the top wall straight across and then added the DVD shelves. The equipment rack is on casters and slides into that space. When I pull the equipment rack out it gives me access to the little area behind it for all the wiring (width is the same as the racks and it's about 2 feet deep).

Spartanstew - I'm really loving your setup. I'm wondering where you got your matrix custom cover set?

What bookselves are those?
They are custom made. I drew a blueprint with the dimensions I wanted and a friends father, who's a carpenter, built them.

Nice. Just curious. What kind of wood is it and what's the depth of the case?

The shelf material is 15mm melamine. Each shelf depth 16cm (total depth 20cm, with the backplate at 16cm), height 21cm, width 52cm. The backplate is 3mm hardboard.

Mikko,

Are those all custom DVD covers - the reason I ask is they all match up and we all know that NEVER happens!

Nice collection!

Some of you guys have a tonne of DVD's. I can't compete with that, but here's my setup anyway.

whats the point though of keeping some plastic wrap on the dvd? None of them are really gonna be worth money, they are just dvds

Looks like the kid's chosen "Tremors".

Edit: or "Shadow of the vampire". Can't be 100% sure.

The point is I own it, and I know what to do with it. If they were just DVDs to you, howcome you put time and effort telling me that?

Again, bottomline I own it and I know what to do with it

Just looked at the hi-res version of the photo and it's Tremors Good call.
I keep mine in plastic (where possible) to minimise scratches and stuff. Nothing to do with resale value. I mean, it doesn't cost me anything extra to keep it on, you can still tell what the DVD is, and it's not like it stops me from enjoying the movie.

I got it from play.com when I was in the UK.
Here's a link.

That's strange, I got it for about 14 pounds earlier this year. Seems to have doubled in price.
