Little Britain - the funniest TV show I've seen in a long time! I already have the first 2 series from the UK but highly recommend people checking it out. For those wondering, it's a skit show.

I didn't know that it has been officially announced.

Just as others have said in various threads throughout dvdtalk, not everyone is willing to wait the to-be-determined amount of time it's going to take for the SE to come out. Those waiting for the Kill Bill SE are still waiting.

Why do people keep comparing the situation to Kill Bill. What the F do those two movies releases have in common?RR specifically said that another release is due in about 4 months.

The only one I'll be buying right away is "The Simpsons: Season Six."

I'll eventually get "Astaire and Rogers Vol. 1" and the Studio Ghibli films, probably during the next DDD 20% off sale. I'm interested in "My Left Foot" - I'll give it a rental before buying. I'll wait for the special edition to get "Sin City."

I would say because directors are saying that they have this bigger badder version coming out that they are woking on and then nothing ever pans out. QT said this and nothing, Spiderman 2.5 was supposed to come out and nothing, so people aren't holding their breath for RR's Sin City DC. Just my .02

The point is there's no guarantee, so if you liked the movie why hold out. It might be 6 months, or 2 years, or never. It's happened time and time again. Except for LOTR (and with those, the release dates for the EEs were announced before the regular versions even came out) it seems like these promised SEs either never come, or take forever (like Resident Evil, which was promised before the first DVD came out, but took 2 years, and didn't even include all the stuff they said it would).

Where's Undeclared?

Sin City: SE is on the way, according to Robert Rodiguez, which is a given considering 1) the studio and 2) this DVD being pretty bare.
