And I won't be either until the errors are corrected.
Really studios, how hard is it?

Yesterday we confirmed the December 6 release date for Thundercats Season 1, Volume 2, and today we have a bit more information, and slightly better artwork.

The 6-disc, 32 episode (736 mins) set will be broken up as follows:

Disc 1
Queen of 8 Legs
Sword in a Hole
The Evil Harp of Charr-Nin
Lion-O's Anointment First Day: Trial of Strength
The Demolisher
Monkian's Bargain
Disc 2
Tight Squeeze
The Micrits
Lion-O's Anointment Second Day: The Trial of Speed
The Rock Giant
Jackalman's Rebellion
Turmagar the Tuska
Disc 3
Lion-O's Anointment Third Day: Trial of Cunning
The Mumm-Ra Berbil
Mechanical Plague
Trapped
Lion-O's Anointment Fourth Day: The Trial of Mind Power
Excalibur
Disc 4
Secret of the Ice King
Good and Ugly
The Transfer
Divide and Conquer
Dream Master
Out of Sight
Disc 5
The Mountain
The Superpower Potion
Eye of the Beholder
Lion-O's Anointment Final Day: The Trial of Evil
Disc 6
The Trouble with ThunderKittens
Mumm-Rana
The Shifter
Fond Memories
This release completes the first season of the series. It doesn't appear as though this release will contain any extras.
There is also a pic of the artwork for this new boxset.

I just hope that Warner don't screw this release too. They have a good track record and reputation, but from what I have seen, Volume 1 of the Thundercats is a complete disaster.

funny, i think the original Lion-O artwork looks more accurate than the newer one. his face looks more squished (hence younger) on the newer one.

Perhaps I haven't been keeping up with Thundercats posts, but what exactly is the issue with Volume 1? I own it and have only watched a couple of episodes. The second episode is missing the music obviously (which is a bit weird), but what else is wrong? And is something being done about it? Or is this the best we can expect for this volume?

so far Warner hasn't released a statement. The music is missing on the second episode in the american language track, but is working on french and spanish. The first four episodes are the broadcast versions instead of the Exodus feature version to open the show. This is not a big deal to me since it is the broadcast version that was aired (you can read more in the link on that) Some episodes also have the Close Caption Logo burned into them, which was a giveaway that these were mastered from dupes instead of the originals. Read on here.

Does anyone know if thundercats season 1 vol. 2 had a 3D cover like the rest? Best buy has vol 1 & 2 on sale for $27.99 so I'm going to picke them up but the cover was plain vs vol 1 having a 3d cover and season 2 having a 3D cover

Some bestbuys have the 3D cover while others have the plain. I was lucky to find both from different bestbuys cause the ones I usually go were all sold out. I seen both 3D and plain covers but they only had 1 3D left so I snatch it!!
