Your best used DVD deals
What I mean is,what DVDs did you find at an unbeliavably low price, compared to retail,or the DVD was out of print and therefore "valuable"but you got it at a bargain price. Here's a few of mine(All were purchased with in the last year or two)
Diamonds Are Forever 007 Edition $3 from Sentinel Steel.
Evil Dead(oop Elite version)$7 from Wherehouse Music.
And from the local pawn shop:Fellowship Of The Ring Extended 4 disc $5,The Two Towers Extended 4 disc $8,Re-Animator Millienium Edition(oop Elite)$6.And a few others I found from pawn shops(that aren't DVDs,I just like to brag)Depeche Mode-CD singles box sets $5 each/$15 for 18 CDs,Halloween Limited Edition 2 VHS set $2 and Kamen Rider J $1.That last one really took me by surprise. How a factory sealed Japanese only VHS found it's way into a US pawn shop more than 10 after it's release is completely beyond me.

Dawn of the Dead: 4-disc Ultimate Edition: $12.00 used book store.
I made no small-talk and didn't look the clerk in the eye. I just wanted to get the hell outta there as quickly as possible.

I got Short Circuit OOP SE for $11 off of eBay last week, shipped (Buy It Now even!) My guess is that the person who sold it had no idea what it was really worth or was too busy to check (dude had ~2400 feedback and was selling quite a few LD/DVD titles).

Let's see....
At EB:
Law & Order SVU season 5 for $9.99
Stargate SG-1 season 7 for $18
Karate Kid (when it was OOP) for $9.99 (found it twice, sold one on Ebay for $50)
Wal-Mart online:
Jeremiah season 1 for $17 and change after shipping
I don't remember what place had it, but several years ago there was an online price mistake for Mystery Science Theater 3000 collection vol 4 for $14.99.
Best Buy.com had a deal where you bought Sanford & Son season 5 and got seasons 1-4 for something like $5.99 each.
Won an Ebay auction for all 12 WWE PPV's from 2003, all factory sealed, for $90.

I guess it would be the Robocop: Criterion I found for $10 at a flea market. It was after it was OOP but before the MGM release. I already had one, but couldn't pass up the deal. I ended up trading it in the exchange forum.

Found the Toy Story Toy Box for $50 at a local store that sells some used stuff. Funny thing is, they had a single used Toy Story II DVD for $40 sitting right next to it . Both were OOP and hard to find at the time. It's as if they knew at about one of them at least

Record Exchange! I'm glad to hear of it. Record Exchange used to be in my town in Ann Arbor Michigan (which houses the University Of Michigan), and i picked up Armageddon Criterion for $2.50, and alot of other gems. Half of my collection is comprised of DVDs i bought from Record Exchange. I couldn't believe how low they priced stuff! Then one day, there was a sign on the door that said "Moving To Sandusky Ohio NO BIG SALE" ooh i was mad

The superbit 2 disc Lawrence Of Arabia for 9.99 at Best Buy, it's on sale. It was 4.99 with my five dollar coupon. I almost bought for $40 the out of print two disc edition with the khakia colored cover the other night, glad I didn't!

First time here posting something. I've found some pretty good deals not just on used stuff but some new dvds at some stores also. I found the Essential Steve McQueen Collection brand new at Costco for $35.99. When Fanny & Alexander came out last year Suncoast miss marked the box set that had both versions $29.99 and I picked it up before they went back and changed it. Years ago I found at Best Buy The Beyond, Hellrasier, and Evil Dead 2 Limited Edition Tins selling for $14.99 a piece so I picked all of them up. One of my better finds was that the Criterion Sid & Nancy had been out of print for about 8 months and one day I walked into Boarders and started to look around. Just by chance I walked over to the dvds and started to look and there it was only copy left and they had marked the damm thing down to $17.99 which I couldn't belive. As for used stuff I've found a lot of good deals at The Wherehouse. I found a Criterion The Leopard for $22.99 when most of there 3 disc Criterion sets go for $29.99 to $32.99.

I should have had Fletch on DVD today from Gamestop for $9.99 (before discount and B2G1F) but the cockmonger counter jockeys refused to sell it and my other selections to me because I occasionally buy things for resale as well. They told me it was against the law because I was "taking advantage of a sale." I demanded that they call their manager so I could talk to him, they responded by calling security on me.
