The Interpreter - Oct. 4th

From DVD Answers:

"Universal has released early details on Sydney Pollack directed thriller, The Interpreter which stars Nicole Kidman and Sean Penn. The disc will be available to own from the 4th October this year, and should set you back somewhere in the region of $29.98. The film itself should be presented in 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with English, French and Spanish Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks. English, French and Spanish subtitles will also be provided. Extras will include a commentary from the director Sydney Pollack, an alternate ending, deleted scenes, a Sydney Pollack at Work: From Concept to Cutting Room featurette, an Interpreting Pan & Scan vs. Widescreen featurette, an Ultimate Movie Set: The United Nations feature, and a Day in the Life of Real Interpreters."

Artwork is available there.

I'm not normally one to complain too much about the artwork but uggh. They slice the film's best marketing point (Nicole Kidman's face) in half with a boring shot of an exploding bus (again, like the theatrical trailer, very "spoilery")! At least there's a commentary....

I don't like the DVD artwork. It's corny.

Liked the movie, but the cover art leaves something to be desired.
