Roseanne: Season 2 -- December 6th

From TVShowsOnDVD.com:

"Aaron M was the first to write in to let us know that Roseanne Barr appeared on The Tonight Show and talked about her upcoming DVD set. She also mentioned that season 2 would appear 3 months after the release of the first set, placing it sometime in November. We quickly checked with Anchor Bay and they told us the second season will be released on December 6, just in time for the holidays."

Just in from TVShowsOnDVD.com: http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=4252

For some reason I can't copy and paste from the page! The episodes on the Season Two set will be the original network versions!!

No word on a "correction" to the Season One set.

Didn't they originally announce the first season was the original broadcast versions also?

That's because we prefer people do what you did; link to the article, not copy it. Copying an entire article means we get less traffic to the site, but it also means any updates we do to the article don't trickle down, and then people are reading wrong information. It seems that many people on DVDTalk like to copy/paste entire articles, and it's caused us a few problems in the past, so thanks for just linking to it.

The cast is on Larry King and addressed the DVDs having the syndicated cut. Basically she said it was a mistake and the remaining seasons will be correct. Doesn't sound like they will correct season one.

I had always planned on buying these when the show finally made it to DVD, but I won't buy season 1 syndicated, nor will I buy the subsequent seasons without season 1. It's just as well; I've got plenty of other shows to watch.
