Hey, is this the movie where the killer ties a victim to a tree, attaches a knife to the end of a trombone and then plays music while the knife stabs the victim each time he slides the trombone handle back and forth?

I knew a guy that was an extra. I've yet to check it out. I suck.

So, yes, I'd like to see it released.

I've been waiting for this one too. Unfortunately, Sony now holds the rights to it. That means, if by chance it does get released, it might very well get a shitty MAR transfer.

rich-y, yes, that's the one. The Phantom Killer is dressed almost identical to Jason Voorhees in Friday the 13th, Part II.

It also has Dawn Wells, aka Mary Ann from Gilligan's Island.

If it does get released will most likely be half of a MGM/UA Midnight Movies double feature. As long as the MMs continue there is hope. Still a lot of AIP titles to get released: Small Town in Texas, Rolling Thunder, The Evictors, Diary of a Madman, Master of the World, Futureworld, Cry of the Banshee, Crimson Cult, and many more can't think of right now.

The Town That Dreaded Sundown is near the top of my want list, along with The Little Girl Who Lived Down The Lane, & Bad Ronald.
