Jackass Bonus Disc

Does anyone know if there was a Jackass bonus disc from Target?! I thought I had heard that somewhere. Thanks!

Just returned from the JEWEL food store (Albertson parent company). They were taking down their LITTLE MERMAID display which they had in the baby food section. They had a cute extra if you purchased the dvd, a small metal lunchbox with the cover art as the cover of the box. The lunch box is about 1/3 the size of a real lunchbox.

Thought it worth mentioning. the boxes are really cute.

Yea there was. It was for the boxset and featured them talking about their 10 best stunts.

I was out of town all weekend, about 350 emails behind. Doh! I guess I should post this week's list sometime today.

Anyone know if Wal-Mart will have anything tomorrow?

Wow! That's a pretty extensive bonus Disc.

Wonder if any of it is a carry-over from the 2-Disc edition coming out the same day?

There ya go, Trevor. I think that's where you've crossed the line into sickness. Buying stuff you hate just because it's exclusive definitely raises a red flag in my opinion. Time to go to Exclusives Anonymous.

I stopped at Wal-mart this morning on the way to work and saw the Omen remake out packaged with an exclusive Wal-mart disc. Off the top of my head I remember it listed a trip to the Omen's premier. My mind goes blank on what the other 3 listings were on the disc.

I know I am a week behind, but I found out two things about X-3:

1. The collector's edition (Stan Lee's I think they are calling it) as 21 deleted scenes. All other DVD's have 10.

2. Has anyone been to Target lately? Do they still have the X-3 Collector's Edition Tin? I didn't even know about it until now.

I bought the Target collector's tin yesterday. Skip it. It's the barebones Widescreen dvd inside, with a few collectors cards and a tiny reprint of Giant Sized X-Men #1. At $24.99, I would have liked the two disc version at least.

The tin is nice, though. It has claws.

Sure, Macnorton.

Just got back from the filthy WalMart near me. Those stockpeople and cashiers must be making a million dollars a year, because they're incredibly rude and unhelpful to customers. Nevertheless:

OVER THE HEDGE at Walmart includes and extra disc called HAMMY'S NUTTY-FUN DVD!

It contains tons of extras, all based on the different seasons of the year.

HALLOWEEN

-Virtual Hammy (dvd-rom)
-The Hammy Dance---Learn to dance like a Nut with your pal Hammy
-Hammy's Halloween Fun--Chariacter Maskes, trick or treat bags, and pumpking carving stencils (dvd-rom)

HOLIDAY

-Bear Cam--Spy on a real life version of Vincent the Bear! (dvd-rom)
-OVER THE HEDGE Video Game Demo from Activision )dvd-rom)
-Hammy's Holiday Fesitivities---Wrapping paper, gift cards, ornaments, garland and more! (dvd-rom)

SPRING

-Hammy's Boomerang Adventure---All new mini movie
-Over the Boomerang---The making of the mini movie
-Hammy's Hoppin' Activities--Egg stands, egg-decorating stencils and eggcellent stickers (dvd rom)

SUMMER

-Burp your ABCs!--You type it, Hammy burps it!
-Patriotic Printables--(dvd-rom)

As you can see, most of the content on the WAL-MART bonus is DVD-ROM stuff for kiddies (and no, it won't run on a Mac... well, natively anyway ). The "mini-movie" is just repeated from the main DVD, but the "making of the mini-movie" is nice to have. For some reason, my copy made my DVD player freak out when playing the featurette -- just short clips with no sound, very jerky playback. Hopefully it's not like that on all players, and I was able to get it back to normal by going into FF mode and back to normaly playback, but it's annoying to have to do that. Anybody else noticed that, or does the featurette play fine for you? I was using a cheap Cyberhome player, so that might explain it.

Also, is it just me, or does it make no sense whatsover for such a colorful film aimed at kids to have such a butt-ugly label surface on the DVD???

Well, OVER THE HEDGE is for kiddies, Mike. I only bought it for my son, age 7.
What do you mean by a 'butt ugly label surface, BTW?
