I just watched this tonight. Pretty bleak documentary. Anyone know of an update site anywhere? Is the guy still alive?

I used to live in the county where "Stevie" took place and worked regularly with the prosecutor involved in the case. Stevie is scheduled to be released from prison three years from today.
