Seeing this, I was disappointed they didn't use the original cover.
Then I saw this (don't freak, these aren't pictures):
Tame Cover
Torture Cover
Those sure piqued my interest... Anyone know anything about those? Those two versions have been posted on various web retailers, but no pictures yet. I'm assuming the blue one I posted is the tame version. The torture cover--whatever it is--sounds cool!
This is the original cover:

My favourite artwork version:
Great film. In my top 10 films this year easy. This is the sort of cinema English speakers just aren't making.
Spielberg's War of the Worlds compared to this? Shit.

I've been low on cash so I had to hold off on buying this. I was going to buy it today and I saw that a R1 would be released on September 6th. And now it's set for the 20th. I have been itching to see this movie, it's not funny.
Apparently, Japan is getting a rerelease too.

No DTS-ES on the US discs?
I have the UK Region 0 2 disc set and there's also the 2 disc Korean Region 3 set and of course the 3 disc special edition.
Multiregion DVD? There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know. There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don't know. But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don't know we don't know.
And I love it

The R2 UK certainly isn't lacking in features for a decent price. What I'm wondering about is -- given the identical (from what I've read) Tartan R1/R2 releases of Tale of Two Sisters, are they going the same route with STGP and Old Boy -- if so, I'll definitely be keeping the ones I already have.

Yup! And I gave you an interpretation of the ending which was far from predictable.
So I guess we'll just have to disagree on this one.

I bought this on a lark a while back. It was actually a lot of fun and in no way predictable. I really wasn't expecting the ending we got.
