First of all, these questions should be posted on the DVDProfiler forums. You'll be much better responses there.

it's the "Refresh DVD profiles and images"...it happens when processing the profile. anyone else get "an error occurred while processing..."?
|
Excellent.
The only beef I have with a premium membership, is I wish they'd automatically say "hey, updates available" |

 To each his own. I like having the little box to check "auto check for program updates". As for "wasting bandwidth", what are you on, hamster powered internet? |

I d/l'ed mine a few days ago

I too think they should let paying customers know about these downloads in some fashion. I look forward to updates but they do a piss poor job informing those who enjoy and use their program.

Intervocative has presumably done the math, and I would guess that they do not want thousands (or more) of meaningless hits bombarding their servers on a regular basis.

Are you people all aware that this is only a Beta Version??? Intervocative is calling it "Version 2.4.0 Beta Build 868 Now Available" in their forum, which is open to Premium Registrants only. I'll pass on Beta Versions. As I seem to recall, they DO send out an e-mail to Registered Premium Users when they release a new FINAL VERSION. Could be wrong on this, but it SEEMS like I got an e-mail from them last time.
|
Actually, it is now listed as a released version (click on the downloads link from the main page, or read the news headline from June 21st), and the notes for the beta version indicate that 2.4.1 is the next beta coming.

Every time there is a new general release, the next time I refresh profiles or connect to the site in a similar manner, it notifies me that I am out of date. With this level of notification as a non-paying user I downloaded the release the day after it was available. I don't see what all the hubbub about notification is about.

2 movies I can't add yet.
#1. In Good Company is still only listed as Full Screen. #2. The Aviator ('05) Does it normally take them this long to add certain movies? |

I have lots of horror releases that haven't been added yet. I hope this is a temporary backlog and they will be more current soon.
|
danwiz says thank you for clarifying that this is not a beta version. I downloaded and installed it. Right offhand I don't see many differences, guess I'd best go back to page 1 of this post and read that list of changes and see if there is anything which helps me out with my collection statistics.
Thanks again guys! |

This is great news!
