It's funny that titles like Brazil and Adaptation get released in clear keepcases and ones like Fargo: SE and the original release of Creepshow 2, that actually have 2-sided covers, come in regular cases.

adaptations chapter listing is on the inside covers
a 2 sided cover is kind of pointless in a clear case, and distracting IMO

You're right! I overlooked that somehow. And I guess since the Brazil box is clear you could argue that clear keepcases look better inside it, but my point still stands in regards to Fargo and Creepshow 2.

And you can add The Karate Kid box set to the list, which uses clear thinpaks.

Most of my clear cases are from Region 2.

Add:
Mr. Murder/Servants of Twilight double-feature
Fast Company
Ozone
2004 World Series
Beatles: First U.S. Visit
Jimi Plays Berkeley
Page/Plant: No Quarter Unledded
Sinead O'Connor Live
Sarah McLachlan Fumbling Toward Ecstasy Live
Paul McCartney: Back in the U.S.

I'm not going to even bother hunting for clear thinpaks in box sets. A good 80-90% of them seem to be clear.

(And, if anyone is keeping track, you can add Anchor Bay's edition of Midnight Madness to the list of titles that has content on the back of the cover insert, yet isn't in a clear case. I've transferred both that title and Fargo to clear.)

This is a pretty useless thread, but I'm bored out of my mind at work today, so I'm going to add The Directors' Label discs (Jonze, Cunningham and Gondry, the next 4 will probably follow suit) to the list.

Shouldn't all these threads about cases go in the covers/inserts/cases subforum? I'm tired of threads like "what are the 2disc book-like sets?" and this one junking up the main forum. And just so I'm not totally off topic, my Manowar: Fire and Blood and Tori Amos: Welcome to Sunny Florida are both in clear cases.

yeah, I really had that in mind when I made this. I was just kinda making a mockery of all the threads we had out there at the time.

to your mockery!

Anyway, there are tons of anime titles that are released in clear cases, and they usually have reversible covers, artwork, or at least some chapter listings and liner notes. Ai Yori Aoshi, Azumanga Daioh, Chobits, Kiddy Grade, Last Exile, Someday's Dreamers, just to name a few...
