"Double Jeopardy" Rip-Off??
I've now purshased (and returned) four (4) copies of "Double Jeopardy", only to get themn home & find out that aside from the usual government warnings, the disc is BLANK. The most recent purchase I made was at BestBuy yesterday, with the same result. Anyone else having this problem?

Agreed
I have to agree that it IS funny, but on a more serious note, the West Coast stores seem to be holding an inventory of "Double Jeopardy" that is worthless........blank, except for the warning statement. I actually called Paramount and told them of the problem......and they could have cared less. As far as they're concerned, they've already sold the title to various retail stores, so it's no loss to them.

"Double Jeopardy"
I have three (3) players myself, and it plays on none of those. I took it to a neighbor, and it wouldn't play on her DVD player, either. Lastly, I took it to my ex's home, and it wouldn't play on her player, either. At this point, I'm fairly certain that no matter how many players I take it to, it's not going to play.
Again, the frustrating part is that the label could care less.

Usually the customer service counter has a little setup to check defective discs. You could ask them to keep opening discs and check them until they find one that's good (if any). Will they let you return it or only exchange it?
