Great movie.

Too bad I've got the current DVD and the soundtrack already, otherwise I'd pick this up.

Hopefully some place will have the 2nd disc to rent, so I can watch the extras.

If by razzle dazzle you mean "all flash and no substance, designed to sucker people"--like in the movie--then the title is perfectly fitting, no?

So, it looks to me that this is the "NEW" stuff on this edition (which also contains all of the old features):

-extended musical performances
-song rehearsals
-Chita Rivera’s Encore
-From Stage To Screen: The History of Chicago documentary
-An Intimate Look at Director Rob Marshall feature
-features on the Academy Award winning costume and production designers
-VH1 Behind The Movie feature
-sixteen track soundtrack

While I would prefer to have a $10 cheaper list price and lose the soundtrack that I will never listen to, atleast there is a decent amount of new features...............

One of the better times I've had at the movies in recent years. Just call me a Grade A First Class sucker.

Yes, I'll get this when it comes out.

I enjoyed the movie and the extras seem good.

Probably get this one, as the first version left me disappointed.

This is nice, so now I can snag the first version for next to nothing. I am a whore for extras but this is one of those rare instances where I want the movie and only the movie.

Rumor is that Buena Vista is going to cancel this...or at the very least postpone the release for a while...

That's a question for the studio...could be because they weren't generating enough prebook orders for the title, or it might have something to do with the Disney/Miramax seperation...anything I say would be mere speculation, so I'll just say I really don't know, but this is what I've heard...

Feel free to turn in your card to me any time you like. And you know what I mean by that.

Please. Let's not start that comparison again. You couldn't pay me to sit through MR again. For starters, I'd need a vat of Tylenol for the headache.

DVD Price Search lists only four sellers for this.

DVD Planet says: "Discontinued." http://www.dvdplanet.com/product_lis...roductid=58844

Digital Eyes says: "THIS TITLE IS OUT OF PRINT OR IS NO LONGER CARRIED BY DIGITAL EYES."
http://www.digitaleyes.net/Details.c...&affiliate=DPS

Only Amazon and CD Universe claim the title is still available for pre-order.

I couldn't find the title at all at: Buy.com, DDD or DVD Empire.

The indications in my interpretation are that the title has either been postponed or outright canceled.

Any more word on this being canned? I have had 2 orders for it cancelled, so the release is looking rather dubious at this point. I was just wondering if anyone knew if it was postponed or what was up?

Amazon still has this up for order...I hope it's not cancelled.
