The Wings Of Eagles?

Just wondering if anyone knows who owns the current rights to this John Wayne film? It was made back in 1957 or '58, by MGM. The version shown on TCM is always the full-screen one, and I'd really like to enjoy the widescreen version of this film one day.

Thanks for any info you could provide....

Hmm...I'm not positive, but I believe Sony now owns MGMs pre-1960 catalog. That would mean Columbia (?) would own rights to this film.

Warners now own all MGM titles pre-1986; there's a chance this may come in a Wayne / Ford boxset Warners are said to be prepping for next year.

Thanks, that's the info I was looking for.

Warners huh...so they own RKOs film library and MGMs pre-1986 as well (not to mention their own films as well). It's no wonder they are constantly putting out great box sets from Hollywood's golden era.

Certainly hope your right about 'The Wings Of Eagles' being included in a Wayne/Ford boxset....that'd be sweet!
