highly doubt it.

maybe if they have kids... the only 40 yr old man on earth that would watch that will be me when im 40 because i refuse to grow up. :P

hell i'll watch it if i live to 90 at some old folks retirement home... and i will still play video games also.. probably still listen to the newest music if i can still hear by that time... and still will dress the way i always dress.. the only over 50 year old rocking a lebron james jersey. haha.

oh yeah... oh and dont forget cartoons i'll never stop watching those either. i'll be rocking my teenage mutant ninja turtles love forever.

that brings up a good point.. i wander if they sell a teenage mutant ninja turtle coffin.. i need to look into that.

Um.... Like the show (though I only got hooked while scouring reruns for the funny David Caradine cameo episode) but this set is not on my must buy list. Too many other items take precedent. But I'll probably buy it some day as the show is far better than any of her movies, so far.

This is a strange thread we got going.

BTW, I will not be buying a Lizzie McGuire box set.

haha why do people come into the thread just to say they won't be buying it and also why is this a weird thread.

if your not going to buy it fine but do you gotta make it a point to let it be known. hehe.

fine you don't like it.. that's fine.. i'm just trying to get people who do like it to come together and try and get the set so we can try and get a second set that way. (btw i can't email the dvd distributor their email has been down for a long while to ask them about another set).

Well it's not as if anyone was thread crapping. Just not everyone is interested in this release. I am but it's not a priority. It's basically an eventually will have instead of a must have.

That said, the show is far better than most people know but it's a step or two bellow Even Stevens. Now there's a set I'd like to see.

yeah i understand that.. that is why i made the post because it's on alot of people's "eventually" buy list.. but as i said i fear that another release could be based on sales as it has been a while now with no updated information on another release... so that is why i was asking for people to "bump" it up in your lists... so we can be sure to get another release... it would really suck if everyone waited to get it and because of that they didnt release another one.

This coming from the person who's made nearly half the posts in this thread making their point known.

We get it. You want people to buy the set.

yeah but that is "the point" of the thread.. the whole meaning of the thread is that point.

so there is a difference in making a point that the thread is intending to make rather then making a point that it is not.

basically there is no point to coming in here and saying your not going to buy it to sum up.

There's no point to coming into a forum and asking people to buy a specific release that they may or may not be interested in. If people want to buy the disc, they will. Otherwise, they won't. Don't flatter yourself by thinking people will rush out and buy this disc simply because you have false hopes of this little forum creating a big enough push for a second release.

Beyond that, the posts of people claiming they aren't interested in owning the set have just as much merit as your multiple posts begging people to buy the set.

someone said he bought the set after this thread.. so there goes your theory down the tubes.

people could of forgotten about it and this thread could remind them... people could also share the same concern as me about sales being a determining factor and might want to go ahead and get it now instead of putting it off... so yeah there is a point.

the same value of point any other thread has.

also if you dont like the show or dont want to buy it why even look at a thread about those very same things... as i said fine i'm not forcing you to like it... do what you want. but why "provoke" and say "i'm not buying it" instead of just moving on. if i went into every thread saying which ones i wouldn't buy i wouldn't have any spare time as i would be in hundreds but why would i do that.

MY point is you made YOUR point with your initial post. You're blasting people for coming in and saying they're not interested, and you keep posting, responding to them and bugging people to please buy this set. If you feel people making one post to make their point is all that's necessary, then stop posting yourself, because, as before, we get it.

Likewise, the studio is not going to release another set based on how many people you get to buy the first one with the help of this thread. Another theory down the tubes.

uhhh do you see nothing but posts about me begging anyone... there was a few conversations... and your just bumping the thread over and over... of course i'm going to respond to you.. it gets the thread bumped up and it passes time.

again if you don't like it all you gotta do is change the channel... how do you know how many times i did something in the thread what are you monitoring it like some kind of earthquake evaluation ahahaha. if you hate the thread so much why keep coming back to it.

and how can i possibly keep bugging people to buy something when the only way they can "keep" reading it is if they on their own free will keep entering the thread... do you even see the irony in this.

i can try... you don't know that for sure.

how do you know they don't only need 20 more sales to mee their quota and 20 people decide to go head and grab one.... maybe only 5 who knows anything is possible.

haha and why does this mean so much to you? what do you care what i'm doing.

I never asked you to respond to me. I made a statement about something posted previously, and you chose to continue making your point. If you don't want to debate on this, then just stop.

All I see is an apparent un-natural obsession with Lizzie McGuire.

I don't care. Post to your heart's content. You're the one who continues to respond to me...which I'm sure you'll do again.

this should double as the official dvdtalk hilary duff thread as well as lizzie... it could grow to like 10,000 posts.

muahahahaha yes!!!!!

btw just in case anyone didn't know you can see the show every friday at like 2:30am there is like a mini-marathon in which they show about 5 episodes back to back... best day of the week.. then if you stay up long enough it airs saturday morning about 8am aghh i forgot exact time but all in all you could watch it friday 1am, friday 2:30am-4:30am then again at saturday 7-8am one of those times.

that is alot of lizzie right there... of course daily showing every weekday at 6pm and 1am. eastern time.

But, seriously, it's so totally unfair that Hilary would get grounded by her parents. She's like a star and should be above all that.
