It's a shame but I think Kenan and Kel will never see an official dvd release

Off the top of my head,
Keenan and Kel
Jake 2.0
Teachers (with Justin Bartha)
Miss Guided

If any of those are planned or announced then nevermind.

I'm sure it's been mentioned but I would love to see Dead at 21 (MTV show) but I really doubt it will ever see the light of day again

From memory, this was a Sunday night show in the UK on BBC2 when we didn't have a whole slew of digital/satellite channels. I very much liked what I caught of the show, although I'm not sure that they screened more than one season.

With the entire run of Friends showing here non-stop for the past several years on one UK channel you'd think that there's be room somewhere or more re-screenings of "classic" material and maybe a DVD release. Ho hum

I would love to see the Nemoy hosted "In Search Of" series. But I don't think that will happen.

Re: Which TV series will NEVER make it to DVD?

The one that baffles me is Max Headroom. It's very short run makes no sense; its lack of a DVD issue makes no sense. That was a significant sci fi show that was almost prescient in its view of modern broadcasting. But for sure some of my old faves that won't make it to DVD would include: The Rogues, Seeing Things, Moon Over Miami, Buddy Faro and Special Unit 2. I sure wish they would, but it doesn't look good.

That's another show that I would love to see on DVD. I don't think it will happen either.

I'm surprised with how long this topic's gone on that Dobie Gillis only gets two mentions. I'd love to get that show on DVD.

Re: Which TV series will NEVER make it to DVD?

Remaining seasons of Survivor or Amazing Race - just no market for reality tv on dvd

Guns of Paradise - apparently this show has just been forgotten, gathering dust in some vault. Pisses me off. It was a lot more exciting than its crappy replacement, Dr. Quinn.

VH1 Behind the Music - I would love to own this series, but probably a music rights nightmare

I would love to see some those Behind the Music episodes on DVD and some of the other VH1 shows like I Love the 80's and I Love the 90's but music and other copyrights will keep those shows from being on DVD.

An American release is one thing, but why the UK hasn't put this out by now is beyond me. Didn't the character originate from there?

The good news on this is that the original movie is finally -and officially- out. Not a bootleg, not an imaginary story, not a dream, not a what-if. Granted, you need a region free player for it, but it bodes well that the rights for this show are getting cleared up after all this time and it gives me hope for future releases.

She Spies - Season 2 ---Where is this? It's still fairly new.

The Wonder Years - Complete Series ---I think we can honestly say this'll never happen.

Wings - Complete Series

I was watching The Proposal the other day and remembered Reynolds being in Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place. Really surprised this isn't on dvd yet.

And by "import" do you mean bootleg? Because I know this was supposed to be released in the UK but that fell through. Not sure why...music rights laws are a bit different over there.

Re: Which TV series will NEVER make it to DVD?

Disney really needs to get off their asses and get Even Stevens, Disneys Doug, Goof Troop, and Recess released, and not to mention a ton of their other shows.
