Cool! I missed about 10 episodes in the middle of the season and can't wait for the DVD... out of curiosity where did you find this date? And does anyone have any info on Special Features? (I would love to hear a commentary by the actress that plays Lois Lane)

The season just finished last week, let's hope this DVD set is not a rush job. I'm hoping they also include that Batman preview on the set.

Errr, they can leave out the Batman preview, it's not that cool... besides, by September, the actual Batman Begins dvd is around the corner. In my opinion, Smallville season 4 is weak than the previous 3. Man, how much longer Clark can fly! The best finale was season 3, where Clark ended up in Metropolis, i was so hyped to guess that he might meet the young Bruce Wayne... Season 5 most likely introduces fortress of solicitude.

Warner Brother's has been at work on this set for awhile (tvshowsondvd.com has had some news reports dating back a few months so I doubt it will be a rush job like "Veronica Mars Season 1" is bound to be.

OMG u dont know the fortress of Solicatude lol Sry BIG Superman FReak here! lol I also have all 4 movies but on vhs I cant wait for Smallville season 4 dvd!! i didnt get to see the season finale. any1 know if its going to be replayed?

And yes Batman lives in Gotham but from all the tv show, comics, etc that do the Superman story Batman is always somewhere in it. I presonal think from the cartoon Static Shock that Metropilis(i messed that 1 up lol) and Gotham are a hop, skip, and a jump away from each other lol (expectally for superheros lol) Static always has either or both of them on the show lol

There is no such thing a the Fortress of Solicatude, but there IS a Fortress of Solitude It's basically Superman's bachelor crib in the snow where he goes to get away from the rat race.

And where he brings his bee-otches for a "super time"...

Can't wait. Neither can my girlfriend's grandmother. That's right. Her grandmother. You got a problem, fools?

I only watch the show on DVD.

I wasn't that pleased with this past season, but I know that when it hits the shelves I'll be picking it up.

from dvd answers

Title: Smallville
Starring: Tom Welling
Released: 13th September 2005
SRP: $59.98

Further Details
Warner has released early details on the fourth season of Smallville which stars Tom Welling, Michael Rosenbaum and Kristin Kreuk. The six disc package will be available to own from the 13th September this year, and should set you back around $59.98 in total. The episodes themselves will be presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen along with English Stereo tracks. I'm afraid we have no word on extra material for this one yet, but we'll bring you the full specs just as soon as we get them. Stay tuned for that.

Not the strongest season at all (especially with those two back-to-back crap episodes just before the season finale) but still something I'll grab as soon as it comes out.

TVShowsonDVD has extra info, stating the Season 4 set will include an episode of "The Flash". There will be a few commentaries, and a documentary titled "Being Lois Lane," which features Margot Kidder and Smallville's Erica Durance.

Interesting that Lois is on the cover seeing as how she appeared in roughly half the episodes. I may get this just because I'm a completist, but Season 4 really sucked.

I guess they're putting Margot in because of the special appearances she's done on the show since the show has no relation to the movies. Why not throw Kate Bosworth on there as well? I guess Erica must be more popular than I hoped since she's got a special and is on the freakin cover. That's dissapointing. I was hoping for a recast over the summer.

Are you kidding! I stopped watching this show after season two, but check out the premier to season 4 to see how they were going to handle the whole lois lane thing, and personally I credit Erica's protrayal of Lois as the Highlight of the season.
