This has got to be one of the cheapest feeling cases and overall packages I have come across in a long while. Akin to a long awaited 80's release or something...no slipcase, no insert, and feeling really crappy and cheap.
Anyone else get that?

Screw the slipcover, gimme inserts inserts inserts...I don't see many cds being released without them, but lately most dvds don't have them. It gives it a bootleg feel without them. There are holders on the freakin inside just for that purpose!! At least give us a chapter listing ugh. It's even worse when a company hypes up some 2-disc special edition with 800 hours of features, but not even a simple insert?
Ok rant over.

so is Paramount known for this type of crappy presentation? i had no idea. it isn't so much the slipcase or insert, but the dvd case itself and overall look with the art looks indeed like a bootleg. ah well, hope the content is great!
and cc is 14.99, pm'd at BB. and got "Scrubs" for 27.83..happy day.

Not only do I hate that Paramount doesn't have inserts, but even more I hate that they make all their discs so that you can't skip past the logo screens and disclaimers. You have to sit there and wait five minutes until you get to the main menu of the disc.

Inserts are absolutely worthless unless there's something substantial found on them. I prefer booklets, since inserts usually contain chapter stops that contain spoilers. If they can't give me something informative, then I'm fine with no insert. Just a waste of paper if there's only chapter breaks listed on them.

oh... thanks, now to sum all the courage to go back to the Tenleytown store, they are not the friendliest of folk (too many of them are on ego-power trips).

BB's policy is if you find the product for a lower price after you've already purchased it, you can take it to customer service and get a 110% PM, which is a PM to their price, plus 10% of the difference (20 cents in the case of TA:WP). It's become pretty routine for me to go to BB on Tuesdays, buy everything at their "sale" price, get my RZ points, and then immediately go over to customer service and tell them I found it a lower price elsewhere and want my 110% PM. They frowned on me once for doing it, and I got into a little tiff with the manager, but after that it's been smooth sailing. Been doing it all this year.
