Is there a better edition of Strange Days?
Sorry if this has been asked before, but is there a better edition planned of this title? The current one seems so low for such a fine film...

For what it's worth, the LaserDisc features all the extras on the DVD plus more so, thus far, it's been the most definitive edition. That said, a 2-disc powerhouse Special Edition DVD release is a necessity--come on, Fox, give us what we want! Give us what we need!

It is odd that Fox hasn't revisited this, especially since it was one of their VHS clamshell Widescreen releases, along with perennial favorites such as Speed, True Lies, The Abyss, Die Hard, etc. Still, for a non-anamorphic transfer, it's not terrible (unlike True Lies). But it has been ten years....
And where's that Mrs. Doubtfire anamorphic release Fox promised last year? And Home Alone? Maybe instead of second releases of Dodgeball and Napoleon Dynamite, they could work on these.

I have the Australian R4 which is uncut. Also 16x9 and 5.1 (and what a very inventive 5.1 mix it is too!) with same extras.
