For the release of the SE of Spaceballs on dvd I saw a promo picture in a magazine recently. I think it was Entertainment Weekly but not positive. It is a spoof of the Episode I photo with anakin in the desert casting vaders shadow. This one has Dark Helmet (the name still makes me laugh) and the shadow holding up two fingers behing his head or something similar. Anyone seen this online? I tried google but came up with nothing with my search terms.

No I haven't seen that one. I have seen one that shows the main characters headshots in a similar fashion to the Star Wars movies, but not the parody version of which you speak.

I've seen the shot you're referring to, and I'm pretty sure it was in Entertainment Weekly. Specifically it was an ad announcing the release.

Heheh, I love how the people at Sequential Pictures are talking like the Spaceballs people copied their idea. I mean, it could totally be a coincidence. In the link to that forum with the pics, this guy is even suggesting that Sequential Pictures sue! Heheh...people are silly.

they also did a spoof on the episode 3 teaser with mel brooks cape turning into dark helmet

By the way, just so you know which Entertainment Weekly that it's in...it's the Summer Movie Preview Double issue. The dates on it say something like April 26 & May 5th.

i saw it in either Entertainment weekly or premiere magazine a few weeks back...i have seen it in a few magazines so might have been both.
