They Died with Their Boots on DVD Question
This is part of the Errol Flynn box set I believe. Is this title available seperately or do you have to get the whole box set? Is this movie remasterd?

DDD seems to have the low online price: $13.26 shipped.
And none of the films in the Flynn box set were digitally cleaned/restored, unlike the previously-released The Adventures of Robin Hood: Two-Disc Special Edition.

So the one i'm looking for , They died with their boots on , from the boxset is available seperately? Was there a earlier release of this movie before the box set? the reason why i'm asking is that I don't want to get the wrong copy if there was an earlier release.

That's an assumption on your part... how do you know what work they did on the films? Just because it's not done in the "Ultra resolution" process doesn't mean digital cleanup was not used, it most likely means the original 3 strip elements are lost or not workable. Having seen the previous versions of these titles on home video, I would say they DO look cleaned up and substantially better this time around. Mis-registration problems are still present in "Elizabeth and Essex", but it's still an improvement.

Yes they were indeed cleaned and restored, maybe not to the extent of other Warners titles, but cleaned they were and IMHO They Died With Their Boots On looks wonderful.
