I'd be willing to give it another look. I remember the once or twice I saw it on TV when I was younger, I was turned off of it because it had nothing to do with the films.

Well, if they're realeasing Poltergeist: The Series, I find it hard to believe that they wouldn't do the same for the F13th or Nightmare on Elm St TV series.

i would buy this series without hesitation. the subject matter was a bit dark (dealing with the occult), but it was fun to watch the characters chase after different types of cursed objects week after week. this used to run back-to-back with the War of the Worlds TV Series produced at the same time. surprised Paramount hasn't cashed in on releasing that show with Tom Cruise's recent movie.

I'm sure that if there is enough interest, the series will come out.

Thanks for the confidence, Speedy! :D

Unfortunately, we've heard nothing. There was a rumor 2 years ago, but nothing came of it. Paramount hasn't seemed to put this one on their radar screens at all, from what we can tell. This despite the fact that, among our voters, this is the 48th most-popular unreleased-to-DVD show. :(

Another one in this genre which Paramount continues to ignore is Tales From The Darkside (although the film version of that is easily found in the bargain bins).

Y'know, when "Freddy vs. Jason" hit the theaters, it was the perfect time for both the Fri/13th series and the Freddie's Nightmares series to come to DVD, but neither Paramount nor Warner/NewLine/Lorimar bit. :(
