Highlander TV series "Immortal Collection" question
Saw this "Immortal Collection" of seasons 1-6 listed on Ebay. Is this an alternate release like the Hercules set, stripped down of extras for a cheaper sell price?

It says 45 hours of bonus material and such, but this would pretty much be like buying 4 seasons and getting 2 free... so I'm wondering if there's a catch in here. Like I mentioned, the last time I saw a deal like this, it was the Hercules collection that turned out to be missing a lot of things from the season sets that were at B&M stores.

At $300 for 6 seasons that's still $50 per season, which is just shy of what I normally paid for them. I typically paid $55 each through DDD. Got ripped on the 6th season though...that one should have been no more than $40.
Quite frankly, I'd go for it. I'd rather have this set than the one that Anchor Bay put out. If I didn't already have all 6 Anchor Bay sets I'd snatch this set.

Except it looks like the official website is now selling this set for $229.:
Immortal Collection
I think some of these sets are missing a very small amount of extras compared to the Anchor Bay releases, but it's just a commentary or two, plus with this set you get that Best of Highlander set, which I seem to remember has some different extras on it.
At any rate, at that price, it's hard to go wrong.

This is really sad, but while DVDTalk was down, I kept thinking "Oh no, I hope that guy saw this thread before he bought that set on ebay!"
The only downside with ordering from the official site is that they're still going to be contacting you twenty years from now trying to get you to order Highlander underwear and bathmats. If they ask for your phone number, I suggest "accidently" entering it incorrectly.
