Tough to keep it pared down to just 5, but anyway-
X-Files-Seasons 1-5 definitely and 6 and 7 weren't too bad
Buffy/Angel-counting these 2 shows as 1
Star Trek-Original Series-there is no substitute for James T. Kirk as Captain of the Enterprise
Smallville-a sleeper for me
Twin Peaks-release Season 2 already

It is isn't out yet but what about the 70's show Emergency. It was on the list to be released but never came out.
I also wouldn't mind watching Land of the Lost when that came out.
My current top five in no particular order
Sopranos
OZ
Sex and the City
(maybe it would be cheaper to get HBO)
Night Court (But this was a terrible transfer-very grainy)
A-Team (I love it when a plan comes together)

1. Arrested Developement (rewatchability is the highest amongst all tv on DVD)
2. Sledge Hammer (complete series is now released (S1&S2), possibly the greatest anti-sitcom of all time
3. Fawlty Towers (the complete series of 12 episodes on 3 discs is funnier and funnier after multiple viewings, and the extras are top notch)
4. Reno 911 (Great show with amusing extras and great one liners)
5. Are You Being Served? (the complete series is available and is cheesy and loe budget, and wonderful to rewatch)
Honorable mention: The Office. As with everyone else here, great show worth owning.
