Hercules - Season 1 DVD glitch?

I just got this set today and am checking out the DVDs. But I saw something that Im not too sure is a glitch on the DVD or show/film itself. It seems very smooth and not like a skip or anything so can someone PLEASE check out their show and see if its my DVD with the problem or just something on all of them

Heres the skinny. When the chapter starts and Hercules is walking with that chick, at the noted time, some kind of black mark (Huge) pops up in the screen:

Season 1 Disc 4
Episode 2 Eye of the Beholder
Chapter 3 16:15 mark (almost on the dot)

Some help here would be greatly appreciated.

Unless you've got a typo, and left off a negative, I don't see what the problem is.

Yes, a typo...a typing error that leaves your message not actually saying what you want it to say. And yes, a negative, like the word, "not". Let me see if I can make my self more clear here.

WHAT IS THE PROBLEM??????

In your original post you state the following:
It seems very smooth and not like a skip or anything so can someone PLEASE check out their show and see if its my DVD with the problem or just something on all of them
Bolded text is apparently your problem, right? But being "very smooth and not like a skip", is NOT A PROBLEM. Sounds perfect to me...

THEN, you have EDITTED in later this:
some kind of black mark (Huge) pops up in the screen
OK, that's more like it. However, EVEN if this exists, sounds like nothing more than a small, yes, small, blemish in the print.

I don't recall anything like this happening, then again, I haven't watched my First Season set in about 2 years now.

Damn chill the fuck out. I thought that the title that mentions a glitch was clear enough, dont get anal about it.

Im just looking for a little help so I know if I have to return this. If you have the set, just pop on your disc and go to the spot I have noted and see if you have anything odd, thats all.

Im gone for the night, hopefully help from someone with the set instead of a thread crap, will be posted.

I'm not being anal about it at all. I'm not the one covering up or at the very least ignoring the fact that your initial post stated no obvious "problem" with your disc, and then sneaking in the "problem" in an edit and pretending that it was there to begin with.

I responded to your initial post, simply because I have the set and therefore assumed that I would have some interest in this thread, but upon reading your initial request I was left with a big, "Huh? So what's the problem???"

Then you come back and attempt to make me look like a fool with a smart-ass comment of "I'm not following you dude. Typo? Negative?"

What you should have done was to say, "Oops, forgot to tell what my actual problem was." If you have a problem with my interpretation of your initial post and then your smart-ass rebuttal, then you need to learn some social skills.

Ravenous, I'm too lazy to look, but it's probably film damage.. It's probably been like that since it was originally released, and unlikely to be fixed. Live with it

Hey Ravenous. I just popped in the eppy you speak of and examined it several times. I noticed NO problems between 16:00 and 16:30 and especially at the 16:15 mark. My disc seems to be "black mark (huge)" free. Hope that helps.
