why keep the original release? imo the 5.1 sounds better, and doesn't have the crappy sounding sound effects in the opening credits.

Mine are:

Halloween Limited Edition and Halloween 25th Anniversary
Jaws 25th and Jaws 30th
Silence of the Lambs Criterion and Silence of the Lambs Special Edition
Star Trek First Contact and Star Trek First Contact CE
--> I keep the non-CE for sentimental reasons. It was my first DVD back on 11/25/98.
Star Wars Saga
--> Between VHS, VCD, and DVD (bootlegs included) I have too many versions to count!
Terminator 2 Ultimate Edition and Terminator 2 Extreme Edition
Twister and Twister Special Edition
--> I keep the original for sentimental reasons because it was my 2nd DVD back on 11/25/98.
