We're continuing to line up some great talent for interviewing on DVDTalk Radio. I'd love to also hear from you who you'd be interested in seeing us interview. So far we've interviewed: Shane Carruth - Primer James L Brooks - Spanglish/Simpson Brett Ratner - Rush Hour/After The Sunset Brad Bird - The Incredibles Director - Brad Bird Saw Director James Wan and Screenwriter Leigh Whannell - Saw Dog The Bounty Hunter Henry Rollins Paul Feig and Judd Apatow - Freaks and Geeks Let us know who you'd like to see interviewed... |
Jim Jarmusch. He always seems to have something interesting to talk about...
And how about someone like Christophe Gans or Vincent Cassell, or Mathieu Kassovitz or Lars Von Trier - someone that doesn't get too much attention stateside? |
A few off the top of my head:
George Romero - Director Guillermo del Toro - Director Bryan Singer - Director David Fincher - Director Alex Proyas - Director Pang Brothers - Directors (Asian horror) Takashi Miike - Director (Asian extreme) Angela Bettis - Actress Thora Birch - Actress Steve Buscemi - Actor David Prior - DVD Producer (and DVDTalk member) Jon Mulvaney - Criterion Bill Lustig - Blue Underground Don May - Synapse Films |

i want to hear from
George Feltenstein at Warner brothers Robert Rodriguez on his projects, ideas for 3-d on dvd, and ten minute film school Leonard Maltin more indie directors...let them schill |
Richard Donner
|
Rudy Behlmer- he'd be choice not only for his film historian background but also because he does a TON of DVD commentaries, and on pretty important films too.
|
David Fincher
|
If you could get him, Oliver Stone would be interesting. I'd like to hear him talk about the Alexander DVD (and whether it will be edited or not), and his comments comparing DVD to "mail-order sex."
Is Mel Brooks a possibility? Later this year would be a good time as the rumored DVDs and The Producers movie are released. Fincher would be nice, but I don't think he has anything coming soon to talk about. I mean, he's working on a film, but it could be a while before it comes out in theaters, let alone on DVD. He also probably doesn't have any DVDs in production unless we're finally going to get that SE of The Game. |
David Lynch.

|
Update.
I have the following lined up for this week: Chris Pontius - Wild Boyz John Flansburgh - They Might Be Giants/ Here Come The ABCs More to follow :) |
Wrong forum n00b ;)
I second David Lynch. He would probably be very interesting especially concerning his dvds. |
John Flansburgh should be great....i need to get his new disc....
David Lynch would be a good one, and I am not sure he has ever advertised his website only movies anywhere else...so there ya go. |
Ridley Scott -- one of the best supporters of DVD extras among top-shelf directors. He has a new film to promote, so who knows?
|
Len Wiseman
Ridley Scott Robert Rodriguez |
I would love to have you speak with some execs or someone on the business side of things. Someone from an interesting studio of course. Maybe someone from Anchor Bay, Criterion/Janus, WB (Classics)?
