No problem at all! I checked just for you people and pretended I wanted to add a new DVD to my collection, which would force a check and download of all the various lists - NO PROBLEM AT ALL! 18:10 April 23 Tokyo Time (=05:10 April 23 New York Time)

I am in the Chicago burbs w/ Comcast and I have been unable to access the site or get updates since last night.
jim_cook87's IP solution shows the site is up, so maybe it's a Comcast DNS issue.

I am having this same problem. I am with comcast. I cannot get to the site or connect through dvdprofiler. I tried as one suggested to get to the site using the direct IP address... and that worked. I can go through the site... browse and post to the forum... but that still does nothing for connecting with dvdprofiler of course.
I both emailed and called comcast... they said they are having no problems with the site... and are convinced it is on my side... ran me through a few things... now has me doing a complete virus scan and checking for spyware... once I do that they say if still no luck to call back.
So at this point I feel like I am getting no where and becoming frustrated!

It's not just restricted to a single ISP. My access is on and off to intervocative.com and I'm in the UK. When I connect through an alternate ISP, I can access it no problem. It's a DNS issue, as has already been said. It will resolve itself soon, I'm sure.

Al Gore knows more about the internet than Comcast does. They suck.

You could always temporally modify your hosts file to provide the mapping ....
c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Instructions given in the file itself.
Be careful and be sure you don't delete anything - just tag it onto the end.

I haven't been able to connect with DVDProfiler for updates since yesterday afternoon and I also use Bellsouth DSL. I am able to connect with the IP address though. I'm not sure I understand what this means or the DNS remark?

It is back up for those using Comcast in the Chicago area (spoke with a person in Des Planes and another one in Morton Grove). I am based in Buffalo Grove.

Still down for me, hopefully it'll be back soon.
