SAW - Unrated?
Hey all,
I love trying to search for 3-word titles.... I swear that I saw a SAW DVD that had 'unrated' advertised on it -- now, isnt' the current release rated R? Is there another edition coming out?
Thanks,
Matt

I haven't seen Lion's Gate Home video double dip on it's horror/genre flicks, so I wouldn't get my hopes high on this (of course I could be wrong). The current US region 1 dvd edition is the cut R-rated cut of the film. For the record the import DVD's from Japan, UK (and possibly the Hong Kong) use the uncut unrated print of the film.

I have both the Unrated R2 and the Rated "R" R1 discs. I'd advise you to save your money. The differences between the versions are so miniscule it hardly bears a second viewing, much less a double dip IMHO.

I have both versions and you would never notice the 8 seconds difference if you didnt know what to look for. I wouldnt double dip unless it has a ton of extras.

I would double dip.
...but I wouldn't do it now until it get re-released in HD or Blue Ray (Whatever).
Right now it has decent tranfer and DTS so there is no reason to double dip right now.
