Is there a problem getting Back To The Future Box?

I have tried a few e-tailers, but no joy.

As a side note, what is the packaging like? Is it a large amaray?

Have you tried dvdempire.com ? I just checked and they have it listed in stock. The case is a large 3 disc amaray with a shiny slipcover, and yes there is an insert.

FYI - SEs of all three movies are slated for release at the end of the year.

That's OK. Extras are all well and good, but I never watch them anyway. I'd be ahppy with just the films

There is definitely a release of the first one coming. Universal had included it one of their inserts (can't remember which one) do a search and you'll find it.

I didn't know about the other two.

Not really interested in waiting for SE's if the current ones are cheap. Anybody know if Columbia House ships the corrected version?

Thanks,

i would like to see a link and source for the idea that a SE is coming....what more do you want....the current edition has two commentaries per movie, deleted scenes, multiple docs...its loaded....and anamorphic...no reason to revisit this title anytime soon.

Not quite; the defective box from a couple of years ago had an insert, but the corrected box set (with Parts II and III re-framed right) that was released in January of this year (and which should be the only one stores are selling anymore) does NOT feature the insert. Yep, that's your pick--bad discs with insert or good discs without insert. OR, if you have a bad disc set, send Parts II and III to Universal Home Video like I did and they will replace them so you can have the best of both worlds...
