I just received what was described as "Battlestar Galactica Miniseries - Disc 1" from Blockbuster online and "disc 2" is in my queue. But disc 1 has 3:02 of the show on side one and some special features on side two. Is it a 1 or 2 disc set, or are some 1 disc and some 2 discs?

3:02 as in 3 minutes 2 seconds or 3 hours 2 minutes?

Anyway...some copies came with 1 double-sided disc containing the entire mini on one side and a "Sci-Fi Channel: The Lowdown" special on the other plus a few deleted scenes. Other copies came with 2 double-sided LOOKING discs which were actually just single-sided discs with no disc art. Apparently Universal was running out of double-sided discs during the initial pressing that they transfered the identical content of the double-sided disc to two single-sided discs. Which means that the menu content on the single-sided discs made it sound like there was actually something on the other side when there really wasn't. Does that make sense?

So judging by what you're saying about your copy, it sounds like you got the single double-sided version. Don't have any clue what the second disc would be. Probably an error in their computer more than anything.

Well, I've never seen a DVD running time count displayed like that. My player just counts the minutes, there's no hour breakdown. (ie. 3:02 would be 182:00)
